Volkswagen Golf R32

Volkswagen Golf R32

Volkswagen Golf R32 yet the most powerful and sporty standard Golf ever produced by Volkswagen, apart from the Volkswagen GTI which is now considered an entirely different model from the Volkswagen Golf. The Volkswagen Golf R32 brings the luxuriousness and power of the GTI to the smaller and less costly Golf; bringing better performance, comforts and value for money.

The Sporty R32 trim comes only in 2-door hatchback body style; although a 4-door style is expected to be released for its 2005 model. It is equipped with a 3.2 liter V6 engine that produces 240 hp at 6250 rpm and 236 lb-ft torque at 3200 rpm. This engine is the most powerful engine a Volkswagen Golf has ever been equipped with. It also accelerates fast and quick, with a top speed that registers 130 mph and accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.4 seconds.

The power of the V6 engine is transmitted to the 4MOTION'„¢ all-wheel drive system. Standard transmission for the R32 is a 6-speed manual transmission. The R32 is also 20 mm lower than the other Golf models and is equipped with larger 18 inches wheels, giving it better handling capabilities and reduced body roll possibility.

Inside out, the Volkswagen Golf R32 is designed to give a sporty performance. Larger alloy wheels, low-profile tires, side skirts, front and rear bumpers and a roof spoiler give it a sportier look. The interiors are fully equipped with sporty equipments like sport seats. Interior colors were also changed to give it a sporty feel.
