Volkswagen Golf Rim

Rim is another term for wheel, the rounded metal ring wherein you fit your car
tires. Car rims or wheels are available in different sizes and styles with different
designs and made form different materials. Each type of wheel has its own list
of advantages and disadvantages. Larger wheels are particularly advantages because
they are known to give your car better handling capabilities, aside from the muscular
and sporty looks it gives.
Standard wheels for the Volkswagen Golf are 15 inch alloy wheels for the GLS
trim and 15 inch steel wheels with full wheel cover for the GL trim. These wheels
are standard and enough to make your Golf perform well. There are, however, available
optional wheels to make your Golf perform and look better. Genuine Volkswagen
wheels, aside from the stock wheels, include 16 inches Rave and BBS RXII wheels
and 17 inches Bravo, Delta, Siata and Exor wheels. All these wheels are available
from Volkswagen themselves.
There are also wheels that you can get from aftermarket parts and used parts
dealer. Wheels from used parts dealers are genuine wheels from old and used Volkswagen
Golf cars. Wheels from aftermarket dealers come in a variety of sizes and designs
that you can use to accessorize your car with. They also offer wheels with smaller
sizes (15" and 14") to be used for older Volkswagen Golf models.
